I will be working with my K-2 students on one of the character education concepts for the week. Our focus will be "acceptance". I plan to share the book Stand Tall Molly Lou Melon written by Patty Lovell with them, and after a discussion and some writing activities, I will have them participate in a poll of the book and provide information as to how they are similar to Molly Lou. The poll for my students is set up on this blog. The data will be shared with the school via closed circuit during the morning news program.Saturday, August 29, 2009
