My Reflection PBL

I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire process of collaborating with my peers. The projects we have completed have been beneficial to both myself and my students. I have to say however, that the only aspect of this assignment that surprised me was the difficulty in planning long distance. I have always been a proponent of PBL and will continue to be. But I now realize that even though it can be time consuming and confusing on occasion, my students do not have to be confined to the four walls of our school. I can take them beyond this to other states or even countries with the integration of the amazing tools that are available to all students at all grade levels.

I agree I enjoyed this project, but I found that the times that were the most benficial to me was when three or more of us were on GoogleDocs. I think we planned better for this project than the previous projects. I still like the face to face projects. However, I know the world is changing and this is one area that it is changing.

I agree with Krista - it would have been helpful to assign certain times for all of us to be on Googledocs at once so we could sort of "chat".
